What is your worship service like?
Our worship service includes a time of worship in song based mainly on traditional hymns with influence of contemporary worship songs. Worship is followed by a time of Bible based teaching from our Pastor with a time of response and commitment.
What should I wear?
We invite you to come as you are. You will likely see a variety of dress in our church.
What do you offer for my children?
We provide nursery for infants and toddlers. We have Little Children’s Children’s Church during the service for grades K-4. Children’s church begins halfway through the morning worship service. We have wonderful Sunday School Classes for all ages. On Wednesday evenings we also offer a program for children for children ages 3-5th grade and Youth Bible study for students in 6th-12th grade.
Is your building handicap accessible?
Yes. We have a wheelchair ramp into our main level. Our worship sanctuary is on the main level.
How do I join the church?
If you are looking for a church home, we sincerely invite you to become one of us. You may do so during any invitation time at the close of a regular worship service by coming forward and expressing your desire to the Pastor. OGBC receives members in the following manner:
By profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord with Baptism to follow.
On a statement of Faith that you have received Jesus Christ as Savior and have received Believer’s Baptism, or
On promise of your membership being transferred from a sister Baptist Church.
